In the age of disposable electronics, the number of qualified individuals who can repair high end audio equipment are becoming few and far between. Excel Stereo is here to fill this void.

Excel Stereo is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  We specialize in repairing, modifying,  upgrading, and sales of all types of audio equipment.   We have extensive experience with high end and professional grade audio equipment, and understand the complex technical aspect of audio circuitry.    There is no task too big or small.   We can design an amplifier from scratch, handle your repair needs, or do simple jobs such as temperature controlled cable termination.  

Excel Stereo is founded by Lawrence Lin, who has over 15 years of experience in analog and digital circuits.   Lawrence first began repairing hi end audio equipment for friends and families.  As the word of mouth began to spread, Lawrence received an overwhelming support from a number of audiophiles encouraging him to officially start a repair business which lead to the start of Excel Stereo.   In 2006, Lawrence teamed up with Simon to further expand the business by offering equipment sales due to customer demands.   Simon brings with him years of management and marketing experience through his personal successful manufacturing business.     In 2007, we added two additional technicians, each bringing with them over 25 years of technical experience from well known Canadian audio manufacturers.
