Case No. 5) Complete restoration of the vintage Dynaco Mk III Monoblock

A customer brought in a pair of vintage Dynaco Mk III Monoblocks which needed restoration.  They had loud hums, high distortion, and audible "hisses".

We restored the unit by a performing a complete overhaul, which meant changing nearly all capacitors, resistors, tube sockets and internal wirings.

After the restoration, the results from out bench test show figures which exceeded factory specification.  The idling hum was reduced to inaudible levels.
